Silicone Rubber Heaters for Medical Gel WarmersA manufacturing engineer had a project to increase product throughput of medical gel warmers. The application would require multiple heated zones at process temperatures of 135°C. Ideally they would want a turnkey solution.Using silicone rubber heater technology, Durex designed and manufactured a custom flexible silicone heated module including 18 separate heated components. Result: The multiple zone silicone heater worked great and helped increase production throughput. The customer has specified this flexible heating thermal solution for their other product lines.
