Description
Durex Industries is a recognized leader in the manufacture of custom thermal solutions for a broad range of industries. Our products are components on major OEM equipment and critical process control applications throughout the world. We are currently seeking TIG Welders to become an integral part of our Process Heat team.
Responsibilities: The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products using mostly TIG welding, some MIG
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
- Measure product with straight edges or templates for spec conformance
- Previous experience in welding, manufacturing
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures, TIG strongly preferred
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Basic MIG welding knowledge a plus
