Job Description:
The Element Fabricator in the Elements Department prepares tubing for MGO filling operation. Element Fabricators use machines to make small coils that are later placed inside small tubes. Assembly of coils, review of work orders, process of wash/dry coils and placing on an oven to dry, soldering and spot welding.  Training is available.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Load and unload the MGO filling machines, as instructed
  • Set up and operate machinery
  • Obtain floor stock and required material
  • Cut and remove burrs from tubing
  • Log scrap
  • Produce the diameter required for the product
  • Perform quality tests
  • Complete inspection sheets
  • Seal the tube
Experience and Skills Required:
We are looking for individuals who are able to stand 8-10 hours a day, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. Pushing/Pulling/walking/power grasping on a frequent basis.  Climbing on an occasional basis.  Having a mechanical aptitude is helpful.
Other skills include:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Read and interpret prints
  • Ability to read rulers, calipers, Hi Pots, micrometers and multimeters
  • Must have good math, reading ,writing and measuring skills
  • Experience using hand tools (i.e., drills, split pliers and open ended wrenches)
  • Work fairly independently or under minimal supervision of the Team Lead
  • Ability to effectively communicate to employees, supervisors and management
  • Safety/quality minded
Previous manufacturing assembly experience preferred
