Process Heat Fabricator

Schedule: M-F / 6:00 am – 2:30 pm with OT
Reporting To: 305 Production Manager
Position Summary
The PH fabricator creates several different types of components for complete heater assemblies for our process heat line of business. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Principal Activities:
- Follow all safety guidelines. Safety is always first.
- Verify raw material.
- Properly read a blueprints.
- Ability to use measuring instruments.
- Using manual machines such as lathes and mills.
- Perform housekeeping activities to keep area clean and free of hazards.
- Grinding, chamfer, and debur parts per prints.
- Ability to drill and tapholes.
- Use of pneumatic forming machines and rollers.
- Use machines such as CNC mill, CNC lathe, CNC laser, and water jets.
- Use plasma pipe cutters.
Key Accountabilities:
- In this role, one will be expected to pick parts, communicate materials, maintain the production floor flow, and when possible, improve on production flow.
Candidate Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Work from 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday with overtime when requested. .
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
- Ability to read and understand a blueprint.
- Be self-motivated, driven, flexible and adaptable to complete assigned tasks; results driven.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge is a plus.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to stand for 6+ hours a day.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional business environment verbally, electronically and written.
- Highly organized and detail oriented

The work environment includes working in an office and production environment; may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, heat and moderate noise from machinery while on the production floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but occasional visits to areas with high noise levels or other physical hazards will require the use of personal protective equipment. Safety glasses with side shields and steel-toe shoes are required on the production floor.
Work requires meeting performance deadlines and being exact or highly accurate; requires face-to-face interaction with individuals or teams, negotiating, reasoning and influencing others in a group or team using a participative management style with well-developed interpersonal skills.
This position is also an ‘onsite’ position and will require the employee to physically be located in our 305 office building.
